Resumo:Objective: to analyze a scientific production on the use of integrative and complementary practices (PIC) carried out by nurses in the management of cancer patients. Methodology: Bibliographic, descriptive study, integrative review type. Data was searched from March to April 2019 by consulting the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciElo), Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) and PubMed databases, published in . period 2014 to 2018. Data analysis was performed quantitatively, through descriptive and qualitative statistics, based on Bardin's analysis. Results: Based on the inclusion criteria, 10 scientific articles were identified, eight (80%) in the Pubmed database and two (20%) in SciElo. The year of publication took place mainly in 2017 with four (40%) articles, followed by 2018 and 2014 with two articles each (40%), 2015 and 2016 with one article each (20%). Conclusion: The research data made it possible to observe the need for training on the part of nurses on the use of PICs in the management of cancer patients.
