Resumo: | This study aims to describe the contributions of nursing to the patient victim of acute myocardial infarction. This is an integrative review of qualitative literature. The search for papers involved in the research was conducted in the following databases: SCIELO, LILACS, BDENF and PUBMED, based on the descriptors in health sciences: "Nursing care", "Emergency care" and "Acute myocardial infarction". Inclusion criteria were: published between 2011 and 2021, with free access to the full texts, articles in Portuguese, English and Spanish, and related to the theme. Exclusion criteria were: duplicate articles, incomplete articles, abstracts, reviews, debates, articles published in proceedings of events and unavailable in full. The nursing team acts directly in the initial care to the patient with infarction promoting monitoring, assessment of heart rate and rhythms often for the early detection of the onset of arrhythmias and then communicate to the doctor. |
