Resumo:This article presents a debate on the construction of Labor Justice and labor legislation in Brazil, addressing the importance of preserving documents produced by it and creating files with this objective. From this discussion, I present strategies for the use of these documents, specifically labor lawsuits, as a source for the teaching of history. Some of the experiences of the History and Memory Laboratory of the Federal University of Pernambuco and the Regional Labor Court 6th Region (LAHM-UFPE/TRT6) are reported in the teaching of history with labor processes from the years 1940 to 1980 from the former Conciliation and Trial Boards of Pernambuco.
