| Resumo: | This report aims to describe the experience of students about the actions of the extension project entitled: "Nursing care for people with wounds in the city of Santa Cruz/RN". The actions of the aforementioned project took place at the Clinica School of Nursing at FACISA/UFRN and at the patients' homes. The activities consisted of training members; care according to the Nursing Process; training of health professionals and caregivers; scientific dissemination through the project's social networks. During this period it was possible to offer society a quality service, in addition to offering a space for students to improve their manual practice and clinical judgment.
