Resumo:With the objective of contributing to the acquisition of Libras and Português by the Deaf, this project implemented Tandem as a mediator of learning for students in the Licentiate Degree courses at Ceres/UFRN and the deaf community in Caicó-RN. Portuguese has become an object of difficult understanding for many deaf people, in the same path is the learning of Libras by hearing people, many do not find what is necessary to deepen in the language through the disciplines of higher education courses. To solve this problem we use Tandem as a social tool for learning Libras and Portuguese. Thus, we use face-to-face interactions in the Tandem modality as a means so that deaf and hearing people can, collaboratively, walk in the acquisition of these languages.
