The teaching case “Food & Friends” addresses a fictional situation of a Fast Food cafeteria in its growth, demonstrating the impasses during this process as well as the conflicts found through the modernization of the company's image and processes, in an attempt to update itself market trends. The case presents as its main dilemma the difficulties encountered in the application of strategies for growth/expansion of the enterprise, also addressing problems in the areas of logistics and marketing. The present case is based on secondary information from different companies, and fictional elements are also included. This will serve as support for small businesses and can be applied in the classroom in undergraduate courses in Administration and Marketing and in thematic workshops. El caso docente “Food & Friends” aborda una situación ficticia de una cafetería de Fast Food en su crecimiento, evidenciando los impasses durante este proceso así como los conflictos encontrados a través de la modernización de la imagen y los procesos de la empresa, en la búsqueda de la actualización de las tendencias del mercado. El caso presenta como su principal dilema las dificultades encontradas en la aplicación de estrategias de crecimiento / expansión de la empresa, abordando también problemas en las áreas de logística y marketing. El presente caso se basa en información secundaria de distintas empresas, y también se incluyen elementos ficticios. Esto servirá de apoyo a las pequeñas empresas y se podrá aplicar en el aula en cursos de pregrado en Administración y Marketing y en talleres temáticos. O caso para ensino “Food & Friends”, aborda uma situação ficcional de uma lanchonete de Fast Food em seu crescimento, demonstrando os impasses durante tal processo como também os conflitos encontrados mediante a modernização da imagem e processos da empresa, na busca de se atualizar as tendências do mercado. O caso apresenta como principal dilema as dificuldades encontradas na aplicação de estratégias para crescimento/expansão do empreendimento, abordando também problemáticas nas áreas de logística e marketing. O presente caso é baseado em informações secundarias de diferentes empresas, sendo inseridos também elementos ficcionais. Este servirá de apoio para pequenas empresas e poderá ser aplicado em sala de aula nos cursos de graduação em Administração e Marketing e em oficinas temáticas.
