Resumo: | This study investigated the training courses for Physical Education directors promoted by the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA), in the 1920s, in two institutional places: The Young Men’s Christian Association College, in Chicago and the Instituto Técnico Sudamericano de la Asociación Cristiana de Jóvenes in Montevideo. In the research elements of analysis of the connected stories were adopted to analyze the exchanges established by the ACM itself in its institutes located in different countries in America. The sources mobilized for this project were official documents. It was possible to apprehend a process of circulation of knowledge and practices in the Association mediated by negotiated systematization exercises. |
