Michel Foucault. História da Ciência. This paper shows “The Logic of Life” written by François Jacob based on Foucault’s theory approach because Jacob theoretical work argues about dispersion, breakings in natural sciences knowledge, includes Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and their most specific fields such as Natural History, Paleontology, and Molecular Biology. Based on Foucault's concept of enunciating, there were extracted from the book “Logic of Life”, the two most important enunciates to define the field and their ruptures: the species values and the individual form. Furthermore, the conclusions demonstrate the importance of Jacob theoretical approach to demonstrate the archeological (in a Foucault perspective) and invisible logic in modern science.
