Resumo: | This article analyzes the possibilities of building historical knowledge through comics, specifically, Anne Frank's Comic Book, adapted by Mirella Spinelli (FRANK, 2017). Based on the theoretical contribution produced from the notions of historical consciousness by Jörn Rüsen (2011) and literacy and historical empathy by Peter Lee (2016, 2003), the article explores literary adaptation, building a teaching proposal aimed at favoring the elaboration of historical knowledge by students. In addition, it mobilizes the theoretical and methodological apparatus of Marc Bloch (2001) and Jörn Rüsen (2011). The analysis of the graphic novel as a didactic resource showed: a) the importance of using different historical sources in the classroom; and b) the multiple possibilities of students' learning paths, through a new way of understanding and thinking about History, specifically, through comics. |
