| Resumo: | Pharmaceutical Assistance refers to a set of guidelines that must guarantee access to medicines and their proper use. In this sense, the present article consists of the presentation and discussion of data from a project that aimed to diagnose the clinical conditions of greatest incidence in users of the Specialized Component of Pharmaceutical Assistance in Piauí, in order to propose directions that favor intervention and pharmaceutical guidance actions. . The project had the collaboration of extension students from the pharmacy course at the Federal University of Piauí, executing the proposal in four stages: situational diagnosis, preparation of educational material, pharmaceutical guidance and, finally, awareness campaigns. A good index for assessing the acceptability of the population was achieved, proving the relevance of projects like this.
