Resumo:The present study corresponds to an experience report of the activity “Peles Pretas Importam”, developed by medical students affiliated to the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations of Brazil (IFMSA Brazil) – a student organization whose mission consists of contribute to the training of more humanized, empathetic and socially responsible health professionals through university extension. The intervention, set in remote molds due to the COVID-19 pandemic, aimed to discuss in greater depth the dermatological peculiarities of black skins, since practically all references in the literature focus only on lighter skins.
