Resumo: | This paper examines the production of differences in a State Public Elementary School in Belém (PA, Brazil) from a racialized approach to school education. In this process, developed based on fieldwork with 5th grade students, we have crossed historical narratives about racial relations and miscegenation to understand how racism operated in the school day of the interlocutors. We demonstrate the reproduction of racial languages of a naturalistic, diffuse and rarefied character used by teachers and educational administrators who, for the most part, managed compact and universalizing perceptions about teaching, accentuating inequalities through instrumentalization of practices of inclusion and respect. |
