This paper aims to discuss the relationship between Neuropsychopedagogy, Critical Neuroscience and the social model of disability represented by Disability Studies. Having Deconstruction as its theoretical framework, it goes back to the metaphor of Bacamarte, present in the literature of Machado de Assis, to reason the traces between different fields of knowledge and to rethink the canon of Neuropsychopedagogy. It shows that throughout the 20th century knowledge about the body was disseminated in the Humanities and that this knowledge is translated into Neuroscience, notably in the work of António Damásio, enabling a Critical Neuroscience proposal from the second decade of the 21st century. It concludes by pointing out the need for a deconstructive theoretical and practical agenda on the subject, especially in relation to the role of the neuropsychopedagogue in contemporary times. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo discutir la relación entre la Neuropsicopedagogía, la Neurociencia Crítica (Critical Neuroscience) y el modelo social de discapacidad que representan los Estudios sobre Discapacidad (Disability Studies). Teniendo la Deconstrucción como marco teórico, se remonta a la metáfora de Bacamarte, presente en la literatura de Machado de Assis, para razonar las huellas entre diferentes campos del saber y repensar el canon de la Neuropsicopedagogía. Muestra que a lo largo del siglo XX el conocimiento sobre el cuerpo se difundió en las Humanidades y que este conocimiento se traduce en Neurociencia, notablemente en la obra de António Damásio, posibilitando una propuesta de Neurociencia Crítica de la segunda década del siglo XXI. Concluye señalando la necesidad de una agenda teórica y práctica deconstructiva sobre el tema, especialmente en relación al rol del neuropsicopedagogo en la época contemporánea. Este trabalho tem como objetivo discutir a relação entre a Neuropsicopedagogia, a Neurociência Crítica (Critical Neuroscience) e o modelo social de deficiência representado pelos Estudos Sobre a Deficiência (Disability Studies). Tendo como referencial teórico a Desconstrução, remonta à metáfora de Bacamarte, presente na literatura de Machado de Assis, para raciocinar os rastros entre os campos distintos do conhecimento e repensar o cânon da Neuropsicopedagogia. Mostra que ao longo do século XX disseminou-se um saber sobre o corpo nas Ciências Humanas e que esse saber é traduzido na Neurociência, notadamente na obra de António Damásio, possibilitando uma proposta de Neurociência Crítica a partir da segunda década do século XXI. Conclui apontando a necessidade de uma agenda teórica e prática desconstrutiva sobre a temática, especialmente em relação ao papel do neuropsicopedagogo na contemporaneidade.
