Resumo:Although black symbologies are well-discussed topics in the research scenario, there will always be room for new analysis and reflection. Thus, this article deals with black symbologies as Brazilian cultural identities, with emphasis on feijoada, samba and representative identity styles. Symbologies built through pain, suffering, struggles, disrespect and discrimination, but that always aroused the curiosity of the elites, even arguing their inferiority and trying to make them invisible in historical contexts. Therefore, the objective of the work is to reflect on these symbologies and their dispersion in the spaces almost always reserved and / or frequented by the white elite, discussing the black roots as a basis in the occupation of these spaces.
