description Purpose: This study aims to promote an evaluation of the acceptance and use of the implanted technology (Electronic Information System) in a public institution in the state of Pernambuco, from the perspective of internal users of the system in the light of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (Venkatesh, Morris, Davis & Davis, 2003). Methodology: A quantitative, analytical and descriptive approach with an exploratory objective was used. Data were collected using a structured form with statements grouped by constructs, elaborated and applied via google forms, using the Likert scale. The treatment of the collected data was carried out in two ways: i) descriptive statistics for the questions that deal with the demographic profile of the respondents, called moderating variables, according to the theory; and ii) the Average Ranking method was applied, confronting the aspects proposed in the theory for specific questions, verifying whether the notes of the sample responses correspond to the findings of the renowned author with respect to the relationship between constructs. Results: The results obtained point out that age, gender and experience directly influence the constructs. It is concluded, therefore, that there is a reasonable level of acceptance and use of CES. Although there is still resistance and conflicts to be faced in public management, most users see and understand positively that the system presented in the present study has been a relevant tool in public management, contributing to the management and control of information without leaving aside, support for decision-making, helping to improve the use of resources. Contributions of the Study: The results contribute to the specific literature, because it presents results on acceptance and use in the public sphere, which can subsidize the process of implantation of the CES in other agencies, as well as for future research involving similar situations.

Objetivo: Este estudio tiene como objetivo promover una evaluación de la aceptación y uso de la tecnología implantada (Sistema Electrónico de Información) en una institución pública del estado de Pernambuco, desde la perspectiva de los usuarios internos del sistema a la luz de la Teoría Unificada de Aceptación y Uso de Tecnología (Venkatesh, Morris, Davis & Davis, 2003). Metodología: Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, analítico y descriptivo con objetivo exploratorio. Los datos fueron recolectados usando un formulario estructurado con declaraciones agrupadas por constructos, elaboradas y aplicadas a través de formularios de google, usando la escala Likert. El tratamiento de los datos recolectados se realizó de dos formas: i) estadística descriptiva para las preguntas que abordan el perfil demográfico de los encuestados, denominadas variables moderadoras, según la teoría; y ii) se aplicó el método de Ranking Promedio, confrontando los aspectos propuestos en la teoría para preguntas específicas, verificando si las notas de las respuestas de la muestra corresponden a los hallazgos del reconocido autor con respecto a la relación entre constructos. Resultados: Los resultados obtenidos señalan que la edad, el género y la experiencia influyen directamente en los constructos. Se concluye, por tanto, que existe un nivel razonable de aceptación y uso de CES. Objetivo: Este estudo visa promover uma avaliação da aceitação e uso da tecnologia implantada (Sistema Eletrônico de Informações) em uma instituição pública do estado de Pernambuco, sob a perspectiva dos usuários internos do sistema à luz da Teoria Unificada de Aceitação e Uso da Tecnologia (Venkatesh, Morris, Davis & Davis, 2003). Metodologia: Foi utilizada uma abordagem quantitativa, analítica e descritiva com objetivo exploratório. Realizou-se uma coleta de dados por meio formulário estruturado com afirmativas agrupadas por construtos, elaborado e aplicado via google forms, com o uso da escala Likert. O tratamento dos dados coletados foi realizado de duas formas: i) estatística descritiva para as questões que tratam do perfil demográfico dos respondentes, chamadas de variáveis moderadoras, segundo a teoria; e ii) aplicou-se o método do Ranking Médio, confrontando com os aspectos propostos na teoria para questões específicas, verificando se as notas das respostas da amostra correspondem aos achados do renomado autor no que tange ao relacionamento entre construtos. Resultados: Os resultados obtidos apontam que idade, gênero e experiência influem diretamente nos construtos. Conclui-se, portanto, que há um nível razoável de aceitação e uso do SEI. Embora existam resistência e conflitos a serem enfrentados na gestão pública, os usuários em sua maioria, enxergam e compreendem de forma positiva que o sistema apresentado no presente estudo tem sido uma ferramenta relevante na gestão pública, contribuindo no gerenciamento e controle de informações sem deixar de lado o apoio a tomada de decisão, auxiliando para o aprimoramento no uso dos recursos. Contribuições do Estudo: Os resultados contribuem para a literatura específica, porque apresenta resultados sobre aceitação e uso no âmbito público, podendo subsidiar o processo de implantação do SEI em outros órgãos, como também para futuras pesquisas envolvendo situações similares.
