Resumo:This article aimed to investigate some of the issues involved in the musical performance of people with visual impairments: the types of visual impairment (low vision and blindness; congenital and acquired visual impairment); braille music; the types of memory; musical memory; and how memory is developed for the visually impaired musician. For that, a qualitative-quantitative research was developed, using the semi-structured interview and the questionnaire as techniques for data collection.
