Electric energy is an essential good for humanity, since it is present in many significant sectors of society. However, its excessive use can compromise the planet in a variety of ways, especially in relation to socio-environmental spheres. Thus, it is essential to think of ways to use it consciously and stimulate this reflection through the educational processes. From this perspective, the present work sought from the perspective of critical environmental education, to understand how the digital educational games have worked the issues of energy consumption, since these are resources that potentially stimulate learning. The results showed that there is a lack of descriptive information about the approaches to use of the games and that their contents do not work on the energy theme broadly considering all its dimensions. A energia elétrica é um bem essencial para a humanidade, pois essa se faz presente em diversos setores significativos da sociedade. Entretanto, seu uso desmedido pode comprometer o planeta de diversas formas, especialmente no que tange às esferas socioambientais. Assim, faz-se imprescindível pensar em formas de utilizá-la de modo consciente e de estimular essa reflexão por meio dos processos educacionais. Sob este olhar, o presente trabalho procurou a partir da perspectiva da educação ambiental crítica, compreender como os jogos educacionais digitais têm trabalhado as questões de consumo de energia, visto que estes são recursos que estimulam potencialmente a aprendizagem. Os resultados demonstraram que há falta de informações descritivas sobre as abordagens de uso dos jogos e que seus conteúdos não trabalham a temática energética de modo amplo, considerando todas suas dimensões.
