This article seeks to analyze the social role of the groups of the Tutorial Education Program (PET) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, with regard to their role and contribution in the questions proposed by the SDGs. The results showed that fifteen of the seventeen objectives were covered by the extension activities of these groups in the last 3 years, emphasizing the SDG 4 (quality education), which is covered by 88% of the activities contained in the research, which exposes the relevance of PET extension activities for the development of society. La Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible, propuesta por Naciones Unidas, establece 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), con 169 metas, que apuntan a liderar acciones a favor del crecimiento sostenible con el equilibrio de factores económicos, sociales y ambientales. Este artículo busca analizar el rol social de los grupos del Programa de Educación Tutorial (PET) de la Universidad Federal de Rio Grande do Norte, en cuanto a su rol y contribución en las preguntas propuestas por los ODS. Los resultados mostraron que quince de los diecisiete objetivos fueron cubiertos por las actividades de extensión de estos grupos en los últimos 3 años, con énfasis en el ODS 4 (educación de calidad), el cual está cubierto por el 88% de las actividades contenidas en la investigación, que expone la relevancia de las actividades de extensión del PET para el desarrollo de la sociedad. A Agenda 2030 para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável, proposta pela Organização das Nações Unidas, estabelece 17 Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), com 169 metas, que visam conduzir ações em prol do crescimento sustentável com o equilíbrio de fatores econômicos, sociais e ambientais. O presente artigo busca analisar o papel social dos grupos do Programa de Educação Tutorial (PET) da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, no que tange a sua atuação e contribuição nas questões propostas pelos ODS.
