| Resumo: | Autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that characterized by behavioral changes and difficulty in interaction and communication. This one study is an integrative literature review whose objective is to investigate the clinical approaches and management techniques that can be used in attending autistic patients assisted by the Comprehensive Patient Care extension project with Neuropsychomotor Disability. The selection of articles was made in the databases, PubMed, Virtual Health Library (VHL) and Scielo, of which 12 were selected. It was observed that there are several personalized approaches that minimize the difficulties during th dental treatment of people with ASD. Thus, it is important that the surgeon dentist know these resources and offer quality care to individuals. |
