The work aimed to contribute to the teaching and learning of Brazilian Sign Language, as well as its grammatical structure and functionality in society. The project was developed following an execution schedule. Initially, we raised the number of people interested, then the availability of days and free time so that we could organize the schedule of the meetings, according to the availability of the institute and people interested. The result was satisfactory due to the number of participants, making it necessary to repeat the project in the years to come.   KEY WORDS: LIBRAS, EDUCATION, DEAF PEOPLE, LIBRAS TRAINING   RESUMEN   Pensando en la accesibilidad y en la inclusión de sordos en las dependencias del Instituto Federal de Pará – Campus Santarém, buscamos desarrollar un Proyecto de Extensión para la Enseñanza de la Lengua de Señales Brasileña en las dependencias del instituto en el periodo de 2018 a la 2019, cuyo público meta son sirvientes y alumnos del IFPA. además de vagas fue ofrecido vagas para alumnos y profesores externos. El trabajo tuvo el objetivo de contribuir con la enseñanza y aprendizaje de la Lengua de Señales Brasileña, así como su estructura gramatical y su funcionalidad en la sociedad.  El proyecto fue desarrollado obedeciendo a un cronograma de ejecución. Inicialmente levantamos el número de personas interesadas, en seguida la disponibilidad de los días y horarios para que pudiéramos organizar el cronograma de los encuentros, de acuerdo con la disponibilidad del instituto e interesados.  El resultado fue satisfactorio por el número de participantes, haciéndose necesario la repetición del proyecto en los próximos años.   Palabras-clave: Libras. RESUMO   Pensando na acessibilidade e na inclusão de surdos nas dependências do Instituto Federal do Pará (IFPA) – Campus Santarém, buscamos desenvolver um Projeto de Extensão para o ensino da Língua de Sinais Brasileira nas dependências do instituto no período de 2018 à 2019, cujo público alvo foram servidores e alunos do IFPA, além de vagas ofertadas para alunos e professores externos à nstituição. O trabalho teve como objetivo contribuir com o ensino e aprendizagem da Língua de Sinais Brasileira, assim como sua estrutura gramatical e sua funcionalidade na sociedade. O projeto foi desenvolvido obedecendo a um cronograma de execução. Inicialmente levantamos o número de pessoas interessadas, em seguida a disponibilidade de dias e horários para que pudéssemos organizar o cronograma dos encontros, de acordo com a disponibilidade do instituto e dos interessados.
