Resumo: | This paper gives a look at the types of dances that are being offered to Childhood Education (EI) through a reading of the Curricular References for Childhood Education of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, and the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC) – Childhood Education. It is assumed that dance is a field of knowledge that relates bodily, artistic, and aesthetic experiences. The image obtained by this study presents a reflection of the consequent transitions of the BNCC in terms of dance in Childhood Education. This analysis allowed us to note that the assumptions present in the BNCC and the Natal document dialogue, although not effectively, with artistic/pedagogical propositions in dance. Consequently, possibilities to insert dance in the curriculum documents are presented through rights, fields of experiences and objectives of learning and development, as provided in the BNCC. |
