This article aims to analyze the Strategic Alignment in Information Technology of a company in the branch of furniture and appliances located in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte. The work can be considered relevant because it is a strategic action against the competitive market, which is not well defined in the sector in question, the organization can lose market and have financial problems. For this purpose, a qualitative observational study was carried out involving a case study. The research notes that the study organization uses IT as an alternative to overcome competition, through its use in internal processes and finding new markets, in relation to strategic alignment, it uses the differentiation of Porter combined with the focus due to the current scenario that it is found. It concludes that the organization studied effectively adopts IT actions in its organizational structure and strategic alignment, but suggests a greater focus on integrated inventory management through sales through the use of ERP and in route management. The Thematic Group chosen to present the article is the 10 - Training, business environment, government and the third sector. O presente artigo objetiva analisar o Alinhamento Estratégico na Tecnologia da Informação de uma empresa no ramo de móveis e eletrodomésticos localizada no interior do Rio Grande do Norte. O trabalho pode ser considerado relevante por se tratar de uma ação estratégica frente ao mercado competitivo, que não sendo bem definida, no ramo em questão, a organização pode perder mercado e ter problemas financeiros. Para tanto fez-se uma pesquisa observacional de caráter qualitativo envolvendo estudo de caso. A pesquisa nota que a organização estudada utiliza a TI como alternativa para superar a concorrência, através do seu uso nos processos internos e encontrando novos mercados, com relação ao alinhamento estratégico, ela utiliza a diferenciação de Porter combinada ao enfoque devido ao cenário atual que ela se encontra. Conclui assim que a organização estudada adota de maneira eficaz ações de TI na sua estrutura organizacional e no seu Alinhamento estratégico, porém sugere maior enfoque na gestão de estoque integrada a vendas através do uso de ERP e na gestão de rotas.
