Pharmaceutical Assistance and hydroxychloroquine / chloroquine / azithromycin were included in the study to search databases. On June 4, 2020, Leonardo da Vinci hospital had 163 beds occupied, recording a 93.14% occupancy rate, 126 deaths and 178 discharges. Most inmates are men (64.63%), while women (35.37%). Regarding the age group, the highest hospitalization rate is identified for individuals between 40 and 74 years old or more, men aged 50 to 54 years have the highest number of hospitalizations (twenty-four) in relation to males and in relation to general, while women aged 80 and over are the ones with the highest number of hospitalizations in relation to females. The criteria of efficacy and safety are the basis for the selection of items that will compose the subset of medicines in the hospital, going through stages of the pharmaceutical assistance cycle. It is concluded that the adequacy and guidance of the pharmaceutical assistance actions in the midst of the declared pandemic of COVID-19 becomes effective for understanding the procedures to be carried out in the midst of such a complex situation.

El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar la ejecución del ciclo asistencial farmacéutico, ante casos graves de COVID-19, en un hospital de referencia de la ciudad de Fortaleza. Los datos se recolectaron en el sitio web IntegraSUS, se analizó la tasa de ocupación de camas; número de pacientes hospitalizados según sexo y grupo de edad. La asistencia farmacéutica y la hidroxicloroquina / cloroquina / azitromicina se incluyeron en el estudio para buscar en las bases de datos. El 4 de junio de 2020, el hospital Leonardo da Vinci tenía 163 camas ocupadas, registrando una tasa de ocupación del 93,14%, 126 muertes y 178 altas. La mayoría de los internos son hombres (64,63%), mientras que mujeres (35,37%). En cuanto al grupo de edad, la mayor tasa de hospitalización se identifica para individuos entre 40 y 74 años o más, los hombres de 50 a 54 años tienen el mayor número de hospitalizaciones (veinticuatro) en relación a los hombres y en relación a en general, mientras que las mujeres de 80 y más años son las que presentan mayor número de hospitalizaciones en relación con las mujeres. Los criterios de eficacia y seguridad son la base para la selección de los ítems que compondrán el subconjunto de medicamentos del hospital, pasando por etapas del ciclo asistencial farmacéutico. Se concluye que la adecuación y orientación de las acciones de asistencia farmacéutica en medio de la pandemia declarada de COVID-19 se vuelve efectiva para comprender los trámites a realizar en medio de una situación tan compleja. Os dados foram coletados no site IntegraSUS, analisou-se a taxa de ocupação de leitos; quantidade de internados segundo sexo e faixa etária. Assistência Farmacêutica e hidroxicloroquina/cloroquina/azitromicina foram incluídos no estudo para busca em bases de dados. No dia 04 de junho de 2020 o hospital Leonardo da Vinci, encontrava-se com 163 leitos ocupados registrando 93,14% de taxa de ocupação, 126 óbitos e 178 altas. A maioria dos internados são homens (64,63%), enquanto as mulheres (35,37%). Em relação a faixa etária, a maior taxa de internação é identificada para indivíduos entre 40 a 74 anos ou mais, os homens de 50 a 54 anos somam o maior número de internações (vinte e quatro) em relação ao sexo masculino e em relação ao geral, enquanto as mulheres de 80 anos ou mais são as que somam maior número de internações em relação ao sexo feminino. Os critérios de eficácia e segurança são a base para a seleção de itens que irão compor o subconjunto de medicamentos do hospital, passando por etapas do ciclo da assistência farmacêutica. Conclui-se que a adequação e norteamento das ações da assistência farmacêutica em meio a pandemia declarada da COVID-19 se torna eficaz para compreensão dos procedimentos a serem realizados em meio a uma situação tão complexa como esta.
