description This article aims to verify the availability of content of academic productions of graduated students in the Institutional Repository of the Federal University of Bahia. The repository presents the possibility of leveraging the visibility of the documents produced by these students, so that it stimulates the production of knowledge within the scope of undergraduate courses, meeting the principles of scientific communication in digital media. It is noticed that there are several means of dissemination for theses and dissertations, contemplating the production of graduate students, such as the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, maintained by the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology, and the Sucupira Platform Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel. Institutional Repositories present themselves as an important channel for the dissemination of scientific communication through the Graduation Work of undergraduate students, allowing the knowledge produced by them to be widely shared. Descriptive and exploratory research is characterized by its applied nature, through a qualitative and quantitative approach. We adopted as a data collection procedure the systematic observation of the repository and consultation with the representative of the repository's managing body. As a result, we found that few undergraduate courses offer graduates' productions, while other courses have not included any such documents. The survey of the data allowed to conclude that the insertion of Graduation Work for the graduates is still incipient, needing an incentive work with the coordinators, teachers and students of the undergraduate and normative courses for this insertion.

Este artigo visa verificar a disponibilização de conteúdo das produções acadêmicas dos alunos graduados no Repositório Institucional da Universidade Federal da Bahia. O repositório possibilita alavancar a visibilidade dos documentos produzidos por esses estudantes, de modo que estimule a produção de conhecimento no âmbito dos cursos de graduação, atendendo aos princípios da comunicação científica em meio digital. Percebe-se que há diversos meios de disseminação para as teses e dissertações, contemplando a produção dos discentes de pós-graduação, a exemplo da Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações, mantida pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Informação em Ciência e Tecnologia, e da Plataforma Sucupira da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior. Os Repositórios Institucionais se apresentam como um importante canal para a disseminação da comunicação científica através dos Trabalhos de Conclusão de Curso dos graduandos, permitindo que o conhecimento produzido por eles seja compartilhado de forma ampla. A pesquisa descritiva se caracteriza por sua natureza aplicada, através de uma abordagem quali-quantitativa. Adotamos como procedimento de coleta de dados a observação sistemática do repositório e consulta ao representante do órgão gestor do repositório. Como resultado, verificamos que poucos cursos de graduação disponibilizam as produções dos graduados, já outros cursos não inseriram nenhum documento desse tipo. O levantamento dos dados permitiu concluir que ainda é incipiente a inserção de Trabalhos de Conclusão de Curso dos graduados, necessitando de um trabalho de incentivo junto aos coordenadores, docentes e discentes dos cursos de graduação e normativas para esta inserção, bem como maior clareza nas orientações do Repositório da Instituição quanto a disponibilização dessa produção.
