Resumo:The objective of the study was to report and analyze the experience of a male queer body in a street race on the poststructuralist view. We are led by the following question: in what way does the discourse on the use of body and corporal practices stand out in this sporting modality? Our study is justified by contributing scientifically to the studies related to the theme and stimulating this type of intervention by promoting reflections that subvert the conventions of gender and sexualities in Sport and physical practices. We used a qualitative approach and the field experimentation method. We show that the street race, even without demarcating gender categories, reinforces heteronormative social norms, policing queer masculinities and criticizing your public performativity in the analyzed spheres.
