The objective of this research is to highlight the actions of coordinators for the promotion of Environmental Education in Engineering and Administration higher education courses. Therefore, a field research was carried out with the coordinators of Bachelor's courses in Engineering and Administration in the municipalities of São Bernardo do Campo (SP), Santo André (SP) and São Caetano do Sul (SP). The study was exploratory and conducted through an interview with each coordinator and asked how Environmental Education is promoted by the coordinated course. The results demonstrate that the Teaching Institutions in Brazil still focus on Environmental Management using the disciplines as a matter of dissemination of this important theme. El objetivo de esta investigación es destacar las acciones de los coordinadores en la promoción de la Educación Ambiental en cursos superiores de Ingeniería y Administración. Para tal fin, se llevó a cabo una investigación de campo con los coordinadores de los cursos de Licenciatura en Ingeniería y Administración en los municipios de São Bernardo do Campo (SP), Santo André (SP) y São Caetano do Sul (SP). Se realizó un estudio exploratorio por medio de una entrevista a cada uno de los coordinadores, donde se les preguntó cómo se promueve la Educación Ambiental en los cursos que coordinan. Los resultados demuestran que los institutos de enseñanza educativa en Brasil todavía se centran en la Gestión Ambiental utilizando las disciplinas como base de difusión para este tema tan importante. O objetivo dessa pesquisa é evidenciar as ações de coordenadores à promoção da Educação Ambiental junto aos cursos superiores de Engenharia e Administração. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa de campo, junto aos coordenadores de cursos de Bacharelado em Engenharia e Administração dos municípios de São Bernardo do Campo (SP), Santo André (SP) e São Caetano do Sul (SP). O estudo foi exploratório e conduzido por meio de entrevista para cada um dos coordenadores e perguntado como é promovida a Educação Ambiental pelo curso coordenado. Os resultados demonstram que as Instituições de Ensino no Brasil ainda focam na Gestão Ambiental utilizando as disciplinas como matéria de disseminação deste importante tema.
