| Resumo: | The year of 2020 was marked by the pandemic caused by the novel Coronavirus, a context in which social isolation needed to be adopted in favor of containing the disease. Consequently, health education for the population becomes a major challenge, especially when technology is the greatest ally in information sources. Therefore, the present work brings an experience report of students of the Medical Course in a Federal University (UF) in reference to this educational process for patients with Rheumatic Fever (RF) and their families, inserted in the Multiprofessional Assistance Program for patients with RF through a WhatsApp group related to it. Thus, the study shows that, despite several obstacles, it is necessary to search for effective means of education in times of crisis. |
