The initiative aimed to add quality to research practices at the graduate level, by fostering dialogue around ongoing research. The following results were obtained: better realization about the research opportunities; enlargement of the researcher networks; fostering dialogue among research groups; increased skills for participation in external events and critical assessment of research prior to evaluations. Este informe de experiencia trata sobre la realización del Primer Foro de Investigación de Estudiantes del Programa de Posgrado en XXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXX XX XXXXXXXXXXX, Universidad Federal de XXX, Facultad de Ciencias de la Información. La iniciativa tenía como objetivo agregar calidad a las prácticas de investigación a nivel de posgrado, al fomentar el diálogo en torno a la investigación en curso. Se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados: mejor comprensión de las oportunidades de investigación; ampliación de las redes de investigadores; fomento del diálogo entre grupos de investigación; Aumento de las habilidades para la participación en eventos externos y evaluación crítica de la investigación antes de las evaluaciones. Relata-se a experiência de realização do 1º Fórum de Pesquisa Discente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Gestão e Organização do Conhecimento, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - UFMG, Escola de Ciência da Informação. A iniciativa visava agregar qualidade às práticas de pesquisa em nível stricto sensu, a partir do fomento ao diálogo em torno das pesquisas em andamento. São resultados obtidos: maior percepção de oportunidades de pesquisa na área; ampliação da rede de pesquisadores; fomento ao diálogo entre os grupos de pesquisa; maior preparo para participação em eventos externos; avaliação crítica das pesquisas antes das qualificações e defesas.
