| Resumo: | Since colonial times, indigenous spaces and territories have undergone numerous transformations, and their drastic reduction over time has been noticeable. Even in the early years of contact, the modes of production, reproduction and appropriation of spaces were changing, giving rise to new models. Understanding the dynamics of these transformations is a challenge for indigenous scholars. Therefore, it is necessary to construct a theoretical and conceptual framework that allows analyzing and understanding how the spaces are changing and the territories are constituted from the colonial situation. This essay proposes a reflection on the concepts of territory, territoriality and its variations for the study of these processes. |
