The objective of this study was to mediate the reading of the short story “O Amor”, by the author Clarice Lispector,  with the women participating in the course, bringing a moment of reading, interpretation and reflection of the text, contributing to the formation of readers. The study was based on Vygotsky's (1996) assumptions about mediation and learning, in addition to the assumptions of Socio-discursive Interactionism about the role of language in human development throughout life. The study results indicate a possible awareness of the importance of reading by both student curators and students in the course.  Este artículo consiste en presentar una descripción de la experiencia vivida en la curaduría realizada en el taller FIC – Modalidade Mulheres Mil 2017.2, cuyo tema fue el medio ambiente, centrado en el reciclaje, ofrecido por el IFRN Campus Avançado Lajes. El objetivo de este trabajo fue proponer y mediar la lectura del cuento “O Amor”, de la autora Clarice Lispector, junto a las mujeres que participaron del taller, brindando un momento de lectura, interpretación y reflexión del texto, contribuyendo para la formación de lectores. El trabajo realizado se basó en los estudios de Vygotsky (1996), en mediación y aprendizaje, además de los supuestos del Interaccionismo Sociodiscursivo, sobre el papel del lenguaje en el desarrollo humano a lo largo de la vida. El trabajo desarrollado apunta a una posible conciencia de la importancia de la lectura tanto por parte de los estudiantes curadores como de los demás estudiantes. Este artigo consiste em apresentar um relato de experiência vivenciada na curadoria realizada no curso FIC – Modalidade Mulheres Mil 2017.2, que teve como tema meio ambiente, voltado à reciclagem, ofertado pelo Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Norte – IFRN – Campus Avançado Lajes. O objetivo deste trabalho foi mediar a leitura do conto “Amor”, de Clarice Lispector, com as mulheres participantes do curso, trazendo um momento de leitura, interpretação e reflexão do texto, contribuindo para a formação de leitores. O trabalho realizado teve como suporte os pressupostos de Vygotsky (1996), sobre mediação e aprendizagem, além dos pressupostos do Interacionismo Sociodiscursivo sobre o papel da linguagem no desenvolvimento humano ao longo da vida.
