Resumo: | This article aims to outline the expansion of the categories “inscription” and “circulation”, proposed by the anthropologist Teresa Caldeira. Such categories refer to practices of occupation and production of public spaces in cities. The images, in this process, aided by the search for paths of application and construction of “disciplined ways to see the cities”, proposed by Urpi Montoya Uriarte, became important elements to observe and interpret the reality of streets, alleys and avenues of the city of Viçosa (MG), where the field of this research took place. From these perspectives, we approach a city in constant movement, produced and reframed daily by its inhabitants. |
