Resumo:The article addresses results of interaction of young children with electronic games on mobile devices, through a research carried out in a municipal public institution for early childhood education in the city of Maceió (Alagoas state, Brazil). It aimed to analyze the processes of digital literacy of children from 4 to 5 years old, in an intervention research developed from the contributions of sociology of childhood and studies on digital literacy. The field diary and video recording were used as data collection instruments, in order to capture children's actions, expressions and interactions with tablets, with adults and with each other. The conclusions point to the fact that young children build rich and diverse experiences with the digital universe insofar as they are offered the necessary conditions so that they can explore the tablets with creativity and autonomy.
