In this article, we reflect on the essential criteria for designing and evaluating the research of learning and human development from a historical culturalist point of view. One of the purposes of this discussion is to highlight the contribution of researchers in this approach in bringing the results of research to the demands of current and future socio-cultural development. The historical culturalist approach allows us to pose this challenge, also from an interdisciplinary stance, as demanded by the advance of contemporary scientific thought. Specifically, requirements that need to be more recognized in research in this field of knowledge, according to the stated aspirations, are specified. The analysis will focus on categories or laws of this tradition of thought. En el presente artículo se reflexiona acerca de los criterios esenciales para diseñar y evaluar la investigación del aprendizaje y el desarrollo humano desde el punto de vista histórico culturalista. Uno de los propósitos de esta discusión es destacar la contribución de los investigadores de este enfoque en acercar los resultados de la investigación a las exigencias de desenvolvimiento sociocultural actuales y futuras. El enfoque histórico culturalista nos posibilita el planteo de este reto, también desde una postura interdisciplinaria, tal como demanda el avance del pensamiento científico contemporáneo. Especialmente, se puntualizan requisitos que precisan ser más reconocidos en las investigaciones de este campo del conocimiento, acordes con las aspiraciones enunciadas. El análisis tendrá como centro de atención categorías o leyes de esta tradición de pensamiento. No presente artigo reflexiona-se a respeito dos critérios essenciais para desenhar e avaliar a investigação da aprendizagem e o desenvolvimento humano desde o ponto de vista histórico culturalista. Um dos propósitos desta discussão é destacar a contribuição dos pesquisadores deste enfoque em acercar os resultados da investigação às exigências de desenvolvimiento sociocultural atuais e futuras. O enfoque histórico culturalista possibilita-nos o proponho deste repto, também desde uma postura interdisciplinaria, tal como demanda o avanço do pensamento científico contemporâneo. Especialmente, se puntualizan requisitos que precisam ser mais reconhecidos nas investigações deste campo do conhecimento, conformes com as aspirações enunciadas. A análise terá como centro de atenção categorias ou leis desta tradição de pensamento.
