Brazilian immigrants have begun using literature, music, and cinema to give expression to their experiences. After quickly discussing Brazil's shift from a land of immigration to a region of emigration, this essay introduces a number of aspects of Brazuca literature, and analyzes how the American experience has created changing perceptions of Brazil and the United States for this new minority group, which is a feature of their in-betweenness as immigrants. UFRN 2020-03-13 info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion application/pdf https://periodicos.ufrn.br/odisseia/article/view/19799 Odisseia; Vol. 5 No. 1 (2020); p. 1 - 25 Revue Odisseia; Vol. 5 No. 1 (2020); p. 1 - 25 Revista Odisseia; v. 5 n. 1 (2020); p. 1 - 25 1983-2435 10.21680/1983-2435.2020v5n1 por https://periodicos.ufrn.br/odisseia/article/view/19799/12587 Copyright (c) 2020 Revista Odisseia
