We will verify the importance of both concepts for the construction of an ethic that ensures the subjectivity and is in line with the community. First we present the anthropological bases of thought that Jesuit philosopher, then will check what he calls the act and ethical life and finally debruçarmos on recognition and consensus as a condition of possibility for the act of man in harmony with others and with their context. Este trabalho tem o objetivo de mostrar as categorias de Consenso e Reconhecimento na obra de Henrique Claudio de Lima Vaz. Mostraremos que embora esse filósofo brasileiro enfatiza tais conceitos na obra Ética Filosófica, tais categorias já estavam presentes de forma seminal em seu livro Antropologia Filosófica. Verificaremos a importância de ambos conceitos para a construção de uma ética que garanta a subjetividade e esteja em consonância com a comunidade. Primeiramente apresentaremos as bases antropológicas do pensamento desse filósofo jesuíta, em seguida verificaremos o que ele chama de agir e vida ética e finalmente debruçarmos sobre Reconhecimento e Consenso como condição de possibilidade para o agir do ser humano em harmonia com os outros e com o seu contexto.
