The normative order of the school, the discipline and the control of the youth, characterize the Conservative Pedagogy of Herbart, that still remains present in the Brazilian classrooms. Thus, this study aims to address the notion of education developed by Herbart, specifically regarding the governance of children, and the understanding of the condition of LGBTQI + youth under the approach of inclusive policies. For that, a conceptual discussion is carried out, developing an explanatory study conducted in the light of the theoretical reflections that, due to the scope of origin and focus, represent a varied sample of the production related to the theme presented here. The results show that the normalization of sexuality is translated by social rules that influence society and all its members, including the school. This study points to inclusive policies as a possible way for the school to deal with differences in the field of gender and sexuality. El orden normativo de la escuela, la disciplina y el control de la juventud, caracterizan a la Pedagogía conservadora de Herbart, que aún se mantiene presente en las aulas brasileñas. Así, este estudio tiene el objetivo de abordar la noción de educación desarrollada por Herbart, específicamente en lo que se refiere al gobierno de los niños, y la comprensión de la condición de la juventud LGBTQI + bajo el enfoque de las políticas inclusivas. Para ello, se recorre una discusión conceptual, desarrollando un estudio explicativo conducido a la luz de las reflexiones teóricas que, por el alcance de origen y de foco, representan una muestra variada de la producción relativa a la temática aquí presentada. Los resultados obtenidos evidencian que la normalización de la sexualidad es traducida por reglas sociales que influencian a la sociedad ya todos los que forman parte de ella, incluida la escuela. Este estudio apunta las políticas inclusivas como un posible camino a recorrer por la escuela para lidiar con las diferencias en el campo del género y de la sexualidad. A ordem normativa da escola, a disciplina e o controle da juventude, caracterizam a Pedagogia conservadora de Herbart, que ainda se mantém presente nas salas de aula brasileiras. Assim, este estudo tem o objetivo de abordar a noção de educação desenvolvida por Herbart, especificamente no que diz respeito ao governo das crianças, e a compreensão da condição da juventude LGBTQI+ sob o enfoque das políticas inclusivas. Para tanto, percorre-se uma discussão conceitual, desenvolvendo um estudo explicativo conduzido à luz das reflexões teóricas que, pela abrangência de origem e de foco, representam uma amostra variada da produção relativa à temática aqui apresentada. Os resultados obtidos evidenciam que a normalização da sexualidade é traduzida por regras sociais que influenciam a sociedade e todos que dela fazem parte, inclusive a escola. Este estudo aponta as políticas inclusivas como um possível caminho a percorrer, pela escola, para lidar com as diferenças no campo do gênero e da sexualidade.
