To search this, we did participant observation and interviews. We conclued that these women are the main pleople in charge for housework in their houses. The inmigration did not increament the participation of their husbands on housework. However, there many ways to articulate this work; some of them have particularities connected to the fact of the these women are inmigrants. En este artículo, discutimos la influencia de la inmigración en el trabajo doméstico a partir de las experiencias de las mujeres bolivianas en la ciudad de São Paulo. Para esto, hicimos observación participante y entrevistas. Concluimos que las interlocutores son las principales responsables del trabajo doméstico en sus hogares. La inmigración no significó una mayor participación de sus esposos. Sin embargo, hay varias formas de articular este trabajo; algunos de ellas con particularidades relacionadas con el hecho de que los interlocutores son inmigrantes.   Neste artigo, discutimos a influência da imigração no trabalho doméstico a partir das experiências de mulheres bolivianas na cidade de São Paulo. Para isto, realizamos observação participante e entrevistas. Concluímos que as interlocutoras são as principais responsáveis pelo trabalho doméstico em suas casas. A imigração não significou maior participação de seus maridos neste trabalho. Entretanto, há diversas formas de articulação deste trabalho; algumas delas com particularidades relacionadas ao fato de as interlocutoras serem imigrantes.
