| Resumo: | This study aims to reflect on scientific production and academic productivism in the evaluation process of Brazilian postgraduate studies. The approach method used for the research was the deductive method since it is bibliographic research. As a result, the study discusses the relevance of scientific communication to the information society, the development of scientific research and scientific journals, and the popular way of evaluating scientific production in Brazil. Finally, the study concludes that a review and adequacy of evaluation criteria that distinguish scientific production and productivism is necessary, aiming at minimizing injustices and contributing to the scientific and technological growth of the country. |
