For this, the essay of Aleta Valente by Nin Magazine will be analyzed to show how traces of the queer theory can be found in the publication in order to deconstruct stereotypes about women and the representation of the female body. In the theoretical part it was approached a brief history on the sexuality of the woman and presented concepts of queer theory. For the analysis, the methodology used was Iconography and Iconology, proposed by Panofsky, through which it was possible to conclude that Nin in fact represents a new way of being a woman and looking at women. A proposta deste artigo é de compreender como o queer pode funcionar como instrumento de mobilização para libertação do corpo da mulher. Para isso, será analisado o ensaio de Aleta Valente, presente na Revista Nin, com o intuito de mostrar como rastros da teoria queer podem ser encontrados na publicação, a fim de desconstruir estereótipos sobre a mulher e a representação do corpo feminino. Na parte teórica foi abordado um breve histórico sobre a sexualidade da mulher e apresentados conceitos da teoria queer. Para a análise foi utilizada a metodologia Iconografia e Iconologia, proposta por Panofsky, pela qual foi possível concluir que a Nin de fato representa uma nova forma de ser mulher e de olhar para a mulher.
