In this work, the objective was to carry out a systematic literature review on the process of phonetic nasalization in Portuguese. For this, through keywords and Boolean operators, we created an expression used to perform searches of texts in the Google Scholar database. A total of 1,315 texts were selected. After applying exclusion and inclusion criteria, we have reached 21 texts which integrate this systematic literature review. The selected researches were grouped in two categories: those of phonetic-phonological basis and those of sociolinguistic basis. The results lead us to the conclusion that in phonetic-phonological surveys, phonetic nasalization was treated marginally, and its study was carried out with the objective of being contrasted with the study of phonological nasalization. Neste trabalho, o objetivo foi realizar uma revisão sistemática de literatura sobre o processo de nasalização fonética no português. Para tanto, por meio de palavras-chave e operadores booleanos, criamos uma expressão utilizada para realizar buscas de textos na base de dados Google Acadêmico. Foram selecionados 1.315 textos. Após aplicarmos critérios de exclusões e inclusões, chegamos a 21 textos os quais integram essa revisão sistemática de literatura. As pesquisas selecionadas foram agrupadas em duas categorias: as de base fonética-fonológica e as de base sociolinguística. Os resultados nos levaram à conclusão de que, nas pesquisas de base fonético-fonológica, a nasalização fonética foi tratada de forma marginal, sendo o seu estudo realizado com o objetivo de ser contrastado ao estudo da nasalização fonológica. Já os estudos de base sociolinguística são incipientes com resultados carentes de explicações e conclusões.
