| Resumo: | This paper, originally presented at the roundtable “National associations: Connections between association, formation, and educational policies” that took place at XXVIII Confaeb, discusses the role and importance of scientific associations. It is proposed to understand the scientific associations, especially the Brazilian Arts associations, as agents in a field of forces: the scientific field. Thus, associations are understood as agents capable of engendering strategies aimed at changing the orthodoxy of the scientific field. It is defended the union of the efforts of the associations of the area of ??Art for collective actions in favor of public policies that respect the artistic languages ??as essential knowledge for the democratic formation of the Brazilians. This requires internal and external evaluations, fine-tuning speeches and structuring joint actions especially, but not exclusively, with the Ministry of Education. |
