Resumo: | Cystic adenomatoid malformation is a rare and cystic lesion; It can be found in the prenatal period due to realization of serial ultrasound or at birth, varying according to the symptoms. Regarding the low frequency of cases and experience about management, it has been discussed what would be the best approach to patients according to their particularities This study discusses the options currently described. For the organization of this review, we used the main research platforms PUBMED, MEDLINE, Cochrane Database and UpToDate, where we selected journals related to the management of adenomatoid cysts in the last 10 years. Therapy is discordant regarding surgical excision or vigilant observation in asymptomatic patients, however it recognizes possible risks of infection and malignancy; in symptomatic or severe patients, surgical intervention is usually agreed, but the conventional period is not yet a consensus in literature. Therefore, it is necessary to specify the conduct offered. |
