| Resumo: | This article discusses the implications of the coexistence of popular religious practices, namely, the feasts to Santa Isabel and the rites to the Holy Spirit, in concomitance with the secular manifestations in the public sphere of the Portuguese State. In particular, it is questioned how the principle of secularity in Portugal contributes to the coexistence of religious and secular dynamics, which can generate complementary learning processes between the two knowledge. Therefore, the sociology of religion and moral Durkheim is updated and placed in dialogue with post-secularization of ideas of Habermas. The study follows a qualitative methodology with an interpretive basis. Through the analysis of the constructed materials some post-secular configurations are visualized in the Lusitanian country. It is understood that the post-secular condition and religious pluralism and values are challenges of multiple modernities. |
