The first edition took place in thecontext of the student occupations of 2016 and, undoubtedly, shouldbe considered as part of the youth politicization at the time. The firstedition occurred in the context of the student occupations of 2016 and,undoubtedly, should be considered as part of the young politicization atthe time. The second edition was held in 2017, in a planned way withmore repercussion in social networks and among the school community.I believe that the issues raised by young people in vocational trainingwho problematize historical silence and indifference with regard tonon-heteronormative sexualities need to be analyzed and understoodin order to achieve a comprehensive, human, transformative, inclusiveand political education. For the purposes of this work, we focused theanalysis on a set of images produced in 2016 and 2017 by the Festivalorganization and available on social networks, in addition to participantobservation and informal conversations. O artigo traz à pauta as demandas da juventude que questiona a heteronormatividadeno contexto de um Instituto Federal de Educação,Ciência e Tecnologia, na cidade de Belém do Pará, propondo o debatesobre visibilidade LGBT, segurança e direitos. As experiências e discursospolíticos de uma parcela de estudantes emergiram na realização deduas edições do Festival “Bixa (R)Existe”, protagonizado por universitáriose discentes do Ensino Médio Integrado aos Cursos Técnicos. Aprimeira edição ocorreu no contexto das ocupações estudantis de 2016e, sem dúvida, deve ser considerada no bojo da politização à época. Asegunda edição foi realizada em 2017, de forma planejada e com maiorrepercussão nas redes sociais e entre a comunidade escolar. Consideroque as questões trazidas pelos jovens em formação profissional que problematizamo silêncio e a indiferença históricos com relação às sexualidadesnão heteronormativas, precisam ser analisadas e compreendidaspara que se efetive uma educação integral, humana, transformadora,inclusiva e política. Para fins deste trabalho, concentramos a análise emum conjunto de imagens produzidas em 2016 e 2017 pela organizaçãodo festival que disponível nas redes sociais, além de observação participantee conversas informais.
