Considering the integrated technical training as a modality, capable of promoting human and social development, we aim to discuss the relationships between the profile and the expectations of students and the proposals of an integrated technical course in computer science, of a Federal Institute campus. For this, we used the qualitative and quantitative approaches (RAMOS, 2013; CRESWELL, 2007; 2018) with questionnaires, academic records and institutional documents as instruments. For the analysis, we focused our studies on the Complexity Theory (MORIN, 1991, 2005) and the Sociodiscursive Interactionism (BRONCKART, 2009; 2008; BULEA, 2010) for the identification of thematic content that mobilized students’ representations in the answers to the questionnaire. The partial results of this study point to a greater understanding of the possible relationships between the profile and the expectations of the students, as well as between the latter and the proposals of the training context investigated, enabling a social debate about this training and its possible contributions to the social and human development. |

Considerando la formación técnica integrada como modalidad, capaz de promover desarrollo humano y social, objetivamos discutir las relaciones entre el perfil y las expectativas de estudiantes y las propuestas de un curso técnico integrado en informática, de un campus del Instituto Federal. Para esto, utilizamos los enfoques cualitativo y cuantitativo (RAMOS, 2013; CRESWELL, 2007; 2018) con cuestionarios, registros académicos y documentos institucionales como instrumentos. Para los análisis, pautamos nuestros estudios en la Teoría de la Complejidad (MORIN, 1991, 2005) y en el Interaccionismo Socio Discursivo (BRONCKART, 2009; 2008; BULEA, 2010) por la identificación del contenido temático movilizado en las representaciones de los estudiantes en las respuestas al cuestionario. Los resultados parciales de esta investigación apuntan para una mayor comprensión acerca de las posibles relaciones entre el perfil y las expectativas de los estudiantes, así como entre estos y las propuestas del contexto de formación investigado, posibilitando un debate social sobre esa formación y sus posibles contribuciones sobre el desarrollo social y humano. Considerando a formação técnica integrada como modalidade, capaz de promover desenvolvimento humano e social, objetivamos discutir as relações entre o perfil e as expectativas de estudantes e as propostas de um Curso Técnico Integrado em Informática, de um campus do Instituto Federal. Para isso, utilizamos as abordagens qualitativa e quantitativa (RAMOS, 2013; CRESWELL, 2007; 2018) com questionários, registros acadêmicos e documentos institucionais como instrumentos.
