| Resumo: | This article aims to deepen the proposals related to the theme of dialogue and complementarity between Science and Religion. The way of overcoming all conflict between science and religion lies in the search for truth. Both, by their own methods - experimentation and verification for the sciences; revelation and transcendence for religion - focus on this adventure. Drawing on the view of many thinkers, both those who claim that there is no approach or those who defend dialogue, it is stated in the present work that when science does not belong to any ideological current and religion does not yield to infertile fundamentalism, it is possible to build dialogues from the truth. It is further emphasized that science and religion, recognizing their limits in the search for and elaboration of true knowledge, may be complementary, for what is lacking in the considerations of one can be demonstrated in the other. |
