The work, in the analysis of the documentary corpus circumscribed to the 18th century, is based on Norbert Elias's (1980; 2006) understanding of the processes of dependencies and interdependencies that bind people and the concept of figuration. In terms of conclusion, the historical analysis that has been operated evident that the statute of education of good customs outside of school overcame, in the 18th century, the preservation of the current socio-religious order. The exception was the creation of the public chairs of Latin Grammar (1731) and of First Letters (1793), due to the insistence of the Officers of the Municipal Council of Natal in reciprocal interdependence with the parents of children and young people. El siglo XVIII, en la Feligresía de Nuestra Señora de la Presentación, con sede episcopal en la ciudad de Natal, es el período para reflexionar sobre el estatuto de la educación del niño rechazado (y del niño desfavorecido en general) fuera de la escuela y por medio de la escuela. El trabajo, en el análisis del corpus documental circunscrito al siglo XVIII, se fundamenta en el entendimiento de Norbert Elias (1980; 2006) relativo a los procesos de dependencias e interdependencias que unen a las personas y al concepto de figuración. En términos de conclusión, el análisis histórico a que se ha procedido evidencia que el estatuto de la educación de las buenas costumbres fuera de la escuela sobrepujó en ese siglo XVIII la conservación del orden socio-religioso vigente. La excepción se debió a la creación de las asignaturas públicas de Gramática Latina (1731) y de Primeras Letras (1793), debido a la insistencia de los Oficiales del Senado de la Cámara de Natal en una recíproca interdependencia con los padres de niños y jóvenes. O século XVIII, na Freguesia de Nossa Senhora da Apresentação, com sede episcopal na cidade de Natal, é o período para refletir sobre o estatuto da educação da criança enjeitada (e da criança súdita em geral) fora da escola e por meio da escola. O trabalho, na análise do corpus documental circunscrito ao século XVIII, alicerça-se no entendimento de Norbert Elias (1980; 2006) relativo aos processos de dependências e interdependências que ligam as pessoas e no conceito de figuração. Em termos de conclusão, a análise histórica a que se procedeu evidencia que o estatuto da educação dos bons costumes fora da escola sobrepujou, nesse século XVIII, a conservação da ordem sociorreligiosa vigente.
