In the current society from Rio Grande do Norte, the music education and its results need to be present in media and make solid in the public opinion. The knowledge of academic production in the EMUFRN must not be broken up, present in only one group of people but, interdependent, linked with the cultural life of the city. To know the current problem, it must be tried to understand diferrent realities of different times that had been stages of the development of the instituition in the Rio Grande do Norte´s histoy to catch and to express its necessities in an ample way. The opinion of people who form the school and the opinion of journalists who cast into city´s professional´s of comuniction are analyzed.
