Resumo:Este estudo objetiva analisar a compreensão do professor de Educação Fisica e a interface com a prática desenvolvida com crianças na faixa etária de 11 a 13 anos na cidade de Mossoró. Para tanto, optou-se por uma pesquisa do tipo descritiva e de natureza qualitativa. Utilizando-se da observação não participante e da entrevista semi-estruturada, foram pesquisados 05 (cinco) professores das Redes de Ensino Estadual, Municipal e Particular e 05 (cinco) alunos dos referidos professores. Através das informações adquiridas com a coleta de dados, pode-se verificar o cotidiano da realidade esportiva na escola, ou seja, o fazer e o pensar na ação docente com relação a este fenômeno no ambiente educacional, com crianças na faixa etária acima citada. Para melhor apresentação e discussão do#$&resultados a análise foi dividida em duas temáticas: a primeira, refere-se à caracterização do profissional que atua com o esporte na escola, e a Segunda, diz respeito ao fazer e ao pensar na ação educativa desses professores. O trabalho revelou que o conceito de esporte, na compreensão dos professores e alunos, continua sendo esporte rendimento, alicerçados por uma prática pedagógica repetitiva e acrítica, perpetuando na escola as tendências militarista e competitivista, buscando fundamentação apenas em livros técnicos, manuais de treinamentos e na própria experiência de atleta.#$&Abstract:This study aims to analyze the physical education teacher's understanding and the interface with the practice developed with children in the age group from 11 to 13 years in the city of Mossoró. For so much, it opted for a research of the descriptive type and of qualitative nature. Being used of the observation non participant and of the semi-structured interview, 05 were researched (five) teachers from the Nets of Teaching State, Municipal and Matter and 05 (five) the referred teachers' students. Through the acquired information with the collects of data, the daily of the sporting reality can be verified at the school, in other words, the to do him/it and to think of educational action about this phenomenon in that adapts educational, with children in the age group#$&above mentioned. For better presentation and discussion of the results the analysis was divided in two thematic: the first refers the professional's characterization that it acts with the sport in the school, and the second concerns to do and thinking about those teachers' educational action. The work revealed that the sport concept in the teachers' understanding and students continues being sport revenue, found by a repetitive pedagogic practice and acrítica, perpetuating the school the tendencies militarist and competitivist, just looking to base in technical books, manuais of trainings and in the own athlete experience. 1 2022-10-05T12:40:08Z 2022-10-05T12:40:08Z 2002.
