O que se conhecia no Brasil, até Monteiro Lobato, eram traduções e adaptações de livros europeus, todos com conceitos moralistas.
Hoje, já existem bons escritores para crianças e o IBBY, através do INL e FNLIJ, estimula o autor brasileiro a participar de concursos literários.
A estória infantil no Brasil tem origem na fusão cultural do português, do índio e do negro. Os contadores de estória tornaram perene o milagre da tradição oral. As finalidades da estória são educar, instruir e divertir.
A poesia infantil apareceu tarde no Brasil, apesar de ser a primeira manifestação literária dos povos. A poesia é apresentada ã criança pelos acalantos e pequenas rimas infantis. A sua principal finalidade é despertar emoção poética. Cecilia Meirelles e Stella Leonardos são dois bons modelos de como escrever poesia para crianças. Hoje a literatura infantil já se firma no conceito de ser um verdadeiro ramo de literatura. Escritores, críticos, editores já se dedicam com maior interesse à literatura infantil. Resta à família e à escola firmarem e reforçarem esse interesse em torno de literatura que é oferecido à criança. #$&Abstract:The juvenile literature in Brazil and 1 the world is a retrospective bibliographic research that identifies classic writers of this type of literature,according to their chronology. Perrault, the Grimm brothers and ldersen are the world big trinity of the juvenile literature.
In Brazil, before Monteiro Lobato, we only knew translations and adaptations from European books, all of them with moralist concepts. At our days there are good juvenile writers, and the IBBY, through the INL and the FNLIJ, stimulates the Brazilian author to take part in literature contests. The juvenile story in Brazil has its origin in the Portuguese, the Indian and the Negro cultural fusion. The miracle of the oral tradition has become perenial through the taletellers. The ultimate objects of the story are to educate, to instruct and to amuse. Juvenile poetry appeared late in Brazil, in spite of being the first literary manifestation of people.
The poetry is presented to the child by means of lulling and juvenile rhyme and its main finality is to arouse poetical emotion. Cecilia Meirelles and Stella Leonardos are two good models of how to write Juvenile poetry. At our days the juvenile literattte is, indeed, a true branch of the literature and there are writers, critics and publishers paying more attention to it. Family and school, must consolidate and reinforce the interest in literature offered to the child. |
